Today is the first day of spring! Woohoo! While we’re not quite to short sleeves and sandal wearing weather, I’m feeling the sudden urge to welcome the new season by having a picnic lunch. Wouldn’t it be nice to lounge on a cozy quilt, munching on sriracha popcorn, sipping on a cocktail and soaking up some rays? I never knew you guys didn’t start the season until the middle of March. Why is that? We Aussies like things clean cut. The start of March is the start of autumn (fall). Lovely spring selection. Makes me sad that we’re heading into winter. Maybe you could do a winter wrap up to show me all the fabulous things about winter and make me excited :-)
The only thing better than spring is fall – that’s my favorite time of year! Do you get all obsessed over there with pumpkin spice/lattes/everything like we do here?
