DIY Missoni Bobby Pins

The one thing I really wanted to find at Target but didn’t was the Missoni bobby pins. So I tried to create my own with a package of black bobby pins and a white pen.

Usually things look great in photos and weird in real life, but this one is the reverse I think. Once they are in my hair they will look cool!

Cute! We used to do something similar in high school and paint our bobby pins with nail polish!

I think you're going to put someone out of business Stephanie! How ingenious! And I thought of you the other day when I spotted some of those hair slides you wove with ribbon. I didn't think they made them here in Aus but they do. Also, I'm off to our hardware soon to start on my summer jewellry collection (LOL – for real!)

We live within 45 minutes of a Super Target & Target. Therefore, we don’t get there very often to shop. But it’s my favorite store & we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to go there when we get the chance. Their clothes are wonderful & their prices are reasonable as well.

I don't know anyone who scored the black and white pins! I was at my store at 8:08 and they didn't have any. I'm thinking they didn't make it to Dallas.

Yours are super cute! I think they'll look the same once they're in your hair. Nobody needs to be 3 inches from your head anyway ;-)

How fun! So resourceful. I'm such a fan of DIY projects. Especially from fellow moms =) Thanks for the nice comment on Alexa's blog about my fashion post!

These remind me of when I was in highschool and I would take my nail polish and paint my bobby pins all different sorts of colors. Back then, though, the other kids didn't appreciate my cool factor. ;)

That is genius Regina! Ignore those kids, definately cool!
