Happy Friday! Hallelujah! I wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for the kind words last Friday. I haven’t had a chance to respond but I will! My mom passed away last Sunday and was laid to rest yesterday. This blog is a happy place so I won’t dwell (just go hug your mom!). And please don’t think I’m crazy for keeping up with this blog while my heart aches – the distraction is so helpful!
And apparently attacking things with spray paint also makes me happy. Whenever I get going with spray paint it’s hard to stop! After coating these earrings I think I might have painted the house gold if I could. But a couple of mini pumpkins and some hangers I had just picked up at Target were easier targets. Minimal effort + chic = my type of DIY inspiration.
Does anyone else have hanger OCD? It’s peaceful to me to have everything hung on all the same hangers, facing the same direction.

I thought I was the only 1 out there with the hanger OCD. My closet is a very neat (as in organized) place, even arranged by color. Thank you for a very fun idea to help make my closet “happy” :o)

I’m so glad to see you are back! I know it’s been hard, but getting back into a sense of routine and keeping busy can definitely help. I’m the same way. I know you’re mother is deeply loved and greatly missed.
I have about a zillion styles and colors of hangers in our closet. It bothers me immensely, but Chris just doesn’t see what the problem is. Love the fancy gold hangers!

My Mom is at the beginning of her final journey in life, having been diagnosed with PC just over a month ago. I hope that I can be as strong as you and your family have been. Bless you all.
