Yes, I’ve installed a giant peg board in my hallway. My style resolutions for 2013 are to 1) organize my jewelry and 2) wear more accessories. So my plan is to “check the board” before heading out the door. That way I can quickly put on a necklace or grab a scarf (and tie it my favorite way). I used cute knobs that I found on sale at Hobby Lobby – now I just need to buy about a dozen more to fill up the board!

Thank you Beckie! I’m loving my giant peg board – it’s super handy to have back the back door because you can hang/store tons of stuff!
great collection of ideas!!! I loved exploring the other sites too….and there went my morning!
Jewelry dispay idea I spotted somewhere: take a small wire mesh wastebasket, turn it upside down and put it on a lazy susan and hang earrings on the wire mesh!
What a good idea – my earrings are so disorganized. Tho I might have to spray paint it first so it looks a little less industrial :)
These are all very awesome – I LOVE your white pegboard!

Your giant pegboard is awesome! I’d like to put some hooks in near our front door–I keep eying the fancy ones at Anthro. Our house is so lacking in storage space…
Oh such brilliance! I get a little giddy over DIY storage (is that weird?). Love the idea of pipecleaners on hangars. So simple but so clever. Which one to start with?!?
great ideas. You should check out my brush holder sometime
Definitely! Send me your link!
Cute ideas. I’m a minimalist so some of these may work, behind close doors! Love your idea the best btw :)
I’d love a peak into your closet Jill – I bet it’s super organized and stylish!
Makes me want to chuck everything out of my closet.
Great roundup.
Doesn’t it? I wish I could build a brand new house with a massive walk in closet. Someday….
Great round up and I think I spotted one of mine in there! :) Thanks! Guess what one really caught my eye? The mason jar storage! I’m off to check it out!
I love the scarf organizer idea. I had some left over curtain rings I was going to throw out but now I can use them for my scarves.
Thank you!
These are great ideas, Stephanie! I love keeping pretty shoes, bags and jewelry on display. That way, they act like decoration!
Those no slip hangers are just genius! And so simple too! Usually those kinds of DIYs look a bit trickier than you’d expect.
Great round-up! I especially love your peg board idea! Fabulous!

Ooh, thanks for posting this- I have finally come to terms with the fact that I’ll be living in rented apartments for the foreseeable future and am feeling like I need ways to make my places feel more “me”…. without making any permanent changes to the apartment. There’s some great ideas here to start!
Okay, these are all seriously awesome ideas.
I really only every wear earrings. I have one charm bracelet and two necklaces that I wear occasionally. I would love to find a cute DIY for earring storage.
These tips are FABULOUS! I love your idea of “checking the board” before you head out the door. That’s honestly the absolute best way to do it. You don’t have to go hunting for anything. It’s right in front of your face so there are no excuses. LOVE!
The rest of the ideas are pretty fab too. I’ve been storing my scarves on a hanger with shower curtain rings and I’ve corralled all of my nail polish into a shoe box inside a drawer. I think the next one on this list that I’ll tackle is using ladders as a display. So cool!
Yep, if it means I have to all the way back upstairs to get a scarf I won’t bother – this has made it so much easier!
